Important Notice: ADAS Driver Safety System Calibration
The customer acknowledges that certain windshields replaced (https://aarautoglass.com/contact/warranty-information-disclosures/) by Auto Glass in San Antonio may contain sensors for items such as lane departure warning system, lane keep assist, forward collision alert, collision assist, smart city brake, or any other sensor which controls the movement of the vehicle. Auto Glass in San Antonio has given the customer notice that the original equipment manufacturer may require the windshield sensor to be recalibrated or programmed after it is transferred from the broken windshield to a new windshield.
Auto Glass in San Antonio does not warrant or guarantee the proper function of any windshield sensor that was removed from a broken windshield.
The customer further acknowledges that it will be the customer’s sole responsibility and expense to confirm the proper operation of the windshield sensor, or to recalibrate or reprogram any malfunctioning sensor that was removed from the customer’s broken windshield.
Rock Chip Repair Disclaimer
Customer Warranty Information and Disclosure
Please note that rock chip repair is primarily focused on restoring the structural integrity of the glass and not on cosmetic improvements. As such, you may still notice the location of the chip after the repair is completed.
Upon completion of the repair, we provide a lifetime warranty to ensure that the chip will not spread from the original repair location. In the event that the chip does spread, we will credit the amount paid for the initial repair towards a full windshield replacement by our company.
The appearance of the repaired windshield should not be used as an indicator of the success of the repair. Due to the nature of the glass being pre-damaged, there is a possibility that the chip could spread during the repair process while the technician is applying the resin. In such cases, we will not charge you or your insurance for the attempted repair. However, we cannot guarantee the windshield against further damage.
By proceeding with the rock chip repair service, you acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this disclaimer.
Responsible Notice
ATTENTION CUSTOMER: You are being notified in accordance to the MOTOR VEHICLE LAWS SECTION 70.001- 70.008 that your vehicle may be subject to REPOSSESSION for RETURNED CHECKS such as INSUFFICIENT FUNDS, ACCOUNT CLOSED, STOP PAYMENT, OR STOLEN CHECKS. This also applies to CREDIT CARD STOP PAYMENTS. You will also be liable for the cost of any repossession fees or other incurred expenses.
Windshield removal and reinstallation for existing leaks
For an existing leak that is not covered by our workmanship warranty, removing and reinstalling the windshield typically costs $145. Glass can break during removal even when precautions are taken.
If the windshield breaks during this paid service, you are responsible for the replacement glass and new-glass installation charges. We waive the removal and reinstallation fee in that situation.
Leaks on our own installations that are covered by our workmanship warranty are repaired free under the existing warranty terms.
Ford Explorer, Ford Flex, and Kia Soul exterior A-pillar moldings and clips
The exterior A-pillar moldings run along both sides of the windshield. Existing moldings and clips can be brittle, break during removal, or fail to hold securely when reused. Previous repairs can affect their condition. A molding coming off intact does not establish that it is suitable for reuse; the applicable manufacturer service requirements also matter.
Installation defects remain covered by our workmanship warranty. Material failure of the old molding or clips themselves is separate: if those parts cannot be salvaged or fail when reused, you purchase the replacement parts.
We do not stock these parts. They can be purchased through Ford or Kia Parts, as appropriate, or Amazon; confirm the correct parts for your vehicle before ordering. If reused moldings are later lost or broken, we offer a return visit with no labor charge to install customer-supplied replacement parts.
Check for a Ford recall before buying parts. Ford recall 24S02 / NHTSA 24V031 covers certain 2011-2019 Explorers. Check your VIN with a Ford dealer or the NHTSA recall lookup. For eligible vehicles, the dealer's recall inspection and required repair are free, including parts and labor. Loose trim can detach while driving and create a road hazard, so contact a Ford dealer promptly if yours is loose or missing. A previous privately paid repair does not replace the recall repair.

Ford F-150 rear-cab leaks
Water around your F-150’s back window? A deteriorated seal around the third brake light can let water into the cab. Have the leak traced before replacing the glass or lamp. A controlled water test can help identify the source. Repair options depend on the truck’s year and lamp condition; a replacement gasket may be available.
