A clearer view, with fewer streaks

  1. Work in the shade. Keep the glass out of direct sun while cleaning.
  2. Choose compatible products. Check directions for glass, tint and coatings.
  3. Use clean microfiber. Wipe with a fresh cloth surface as it gets dirty.
  4. Clean inside and out. Follow the cleaner label. Keep spray off interior trim.
  5. Recheck the view. Remove remaining film and clean the wiper blades.

Do not scrape rear-window defroster lines.

Follow the care instructions for any tint, windshield film or coating, including when newly installed film can first be cleaned. If haze remains, recheck for residue with a clean cloth and a compatible cleaner rather than reaching for an abrasive pad.
