5 ways to care for your windshield

  1. Clean both sides. Use a glass cleaner compatible with your vehicle.
  2. Check the blades. Clean residue. Replace damaged or worn blades.
  3. Check washer fluid. Use the type specified for your vehicle and weather.
  4. Wet before wiping. Use the washers before wiping dry glass.
  5. Defrost first. Free frozen blades before operating the wipers.

Follow your owner's manual and product directions.

For tinted, coated or film-covered glass, check that product’s care instructions before cleaning. Let ice thaw; do not pull a frozen blade away from the glass.
